1847Financial sets the tone for growth in 2024 with their annual field leadership meeting

What an amazing week for our field leaders in Miami for the annual field leadership meeting.  It’s a key milestone for our field leaders who have spent time refining their annual goals and their business plans for 2024.  Taking advantage of the weather in Miami, the leadership for 1847Financial was able to hear from keynote speaker Robert Safian, founder of the Flux Group and host of Masters of Scale: Rapid Response.  His wisdom from interviewing hundreds of CEOs was insightful and relevant to keeping pace with everything new in our profession, as well as staying in a growth mindset.

Our leader, Heather Nagengast highlighted the amazing accomplishments from 2023, and some key priorities for Intentional Growth in 2024, which include the expansion of our wealth management team, additional staff and resources for our transitioning and onboarding program, and the introduction of several ways financial professionals can consider being a part of the 1847Financial value proposition and the trifecta of support from our field leadership, and programs from Penn Mutual and Hornor, Townsend and Kent (HTK), our partnering wealth management firm.  As the destination of choice for financial professionals who focus on holistic and financial planning – and know the value of life insurance in those plans, 1847Financial is poised for our best year ever.

Watch our opening video, here:

We heard from every key member of our leadership such as:

>> Our fireside chat with Dave O’Malley, CEO and Tom Harris, our President of Life Insurance and Annuities within Penn Mutual.

>>The expansion of our Advanced Sales team with Bill Bell and additional JDs with over 120 years of experience in estate planning, business owner markets, and advanced case design.

>>Aaron Gordon, President of HTK, talked about our alignment on key enhancements coming later this year to HTK which include initiatives to make it even easier to do business with us and transition your practice.

>> Rewards, recognition and programs like STARS, Masters, MastersPro, Royal Blue, Golden Eagle, and HTK Peak & Summit.  Excited about Royal Blue in Orlando in 2025 and Golden Eagle in Sydney Australia in 2026.

>> Our 1847Financial meeting including study groups with Practice Development, Marketing, Advanced Sales, HTK, and Underwriting & Service.

>> Key competitive features of our products and platforms with Ray Caucci and Andrew Champi.

>> Our service and underwriting panel with Gretchen Dinucci, Brian Bertini, Helen Rennie, David Schimmel, Dorie Harrell, Brent Ricci, and Nancy Mirgliano.

>> Our 1847Financial council with leadership like our exiting President Lisa Davis, entering president Dewane Lewis, Vice-President Ed Barrett, Treasurer Mike Sarver, and Secretary Jeff Johansen.  This council represents the voice of the field for the field and sits on every National Advisory Council and Penn Mutual Tri-Council Committee.

>> Rosie Keller and Brian Strasser talked about the latest, and future, enhancements coming to our 1847Financial onboarding and transition processes and programs, and Wealth Management University.

>> Niki Muller shared her excitement for enterprise projects and initiatives driving our culture, scalability and efficiency at 1847Financial.

>> Heather Nagengast shared her vision as the head of our 1847Financial distribution – to launch key initiatives like Wealth Management University, our new virtual and in person office visit programs, and upcoming recruiting symposiums and enrollment in 1847Financial immersion.

We honored our field leaders at our 1847Financial awards dinner and celebration:

Joel Carson – Bronze leader for business development
Kevin Taylor – Silver leader for business development
Chris Andrews – Gold leader for business development
Lisa Davis – Annuity leader
Michael Kane – Dual awards - Life leader and HTK leader
Aaron Peck – President’s award
Dr. Tomas Parks – President’s award
Jeff Johansen – Chairman’s award – our top honor

And we had some f.u.n. – some fun at great restaurants and evening activities in Miami, whether it was watching the Sunday night NFL games together or simply enjoying the opportunity to see each other again in person.  We’re #BetterTogether as a result and we all look forward to, as our leader Heather Nagengast conveyed in her mainstage presentation, getting out of our comfort zones, staying laser focused, and crushing our 2024 goals.
