1847Financial Oklahoma/Kansas put their firm vision of caring, respect, and belonging into action at their quarterly firm event that combined community service, culture building, bonding, and training. The event boasted an impressive turnout, with over 30 attendees, including 20 financial professionals from 3 different states, 8 home office representatives, as well as local firm leadership. Let’s check out the highlights of the two impactful, fun-filled days:
Team members gathered at Iron Gate in downtown Tulsa, an organization whose mission is simple: to feed the hungry and homeless every day, whether it’s through their soup kitchen, grocery pantry, or kid’s pack pantry.
Together the team assembled 100 large grocery boxes, positively affecting hundreds of needy individuals, long after their shift concluded.
Attendees had the freedom to choose their afternoon activity, whether engaging in pickleball matches at TopSeed or immersing themselves in a golf simulator at SuperFly Golf Lounge. Managing Principal Ken Kolosso’s unbeaten streak on the pickleball court added an extra element of friendly competition to the mix.
The evening events commenced with a dinner outing at Elote, a Tulsa foodie staple. The team sampled a unique sweet menu, including sweet corn tamales and puffy tacos.
The night concluded in a soulful Jazz Night experience at the Tulsa Club Hotel, where team members mingled amidst the melodic harmonies of excellent local talent.
