We’re excited to announce that Steve Crothers has joined 1847Financial as the Head of Wealth Management, Business Development with responsibilities to develop and grow our business through recruiting of financial professionals focused on wealth management, holistic planning and the combination of investments, annuities and protection products as their core focus.  Before joining 1847Financial, Steve was responsible for recruiting and business development at Focus Financial Network and World Equity Group. 

As a Recruiting and Business Development professional Steve has a proven track record for recruiting financial professionals and helping them market, build, and grow their practices. With over 17 years of experience in the industry and 28 in talent management, he has developed and implemented effective strategies and solutions that enable advisors to achieve their business goals and enhance their client relationships. As a firm believer in the philosophy that advisory firms achieve success through a commitment to providing exceptional service to their advisors, his approach empowers professionals to concentrate on efficiently managing their practices, ultimately fostering successful outcomes for their clients. Steve's passion for elevating the advisory experience and commitment to excellence have been instrumental in shaping the success of the firms he has been a part of.

Prior to working in the financial services industry, Steve was the Founder and Managing Director of Burton and Grove Executive Search, a company that assisted technology firms to attract and hire top talent throughout the United States and Canada. He leveraged his consulting skills and industry knowledge to provide customized and high-quality recruitment services for his clients.

Steve is passionate about creating value and delivering excellence in his role as Head of Wealth Management, Business Development within the 1847Financial sales and distribution within Penn Mutual.  Beyond his professional pursuits, Steve enjoys spending quality time with his wife Karen and their three sons Nicholas, Charlie and Colin. With a diverse range of interests, he enjoys strength training, fitness and an active lifestyle.
