To help financial professionals finish the year strong, the 1847Financial Oklahoma/Kansas firm hosted a fall training in Wichita, known as the Air Capital of the World and home to NoxNumis, a top-performing advisor team.
The event took off with networking and dinner in the Aviation Room at Scotch & Sirloin, a Wichita staple. The venue’s distinctive touch – featuring large components of a Boeing jet, including wings and a cabin, set the tone for a fun evening. Newer team members meeting face-to-face for the first time, enjoyed connecting over fine cuisine.
Flight Plan for Success: A Day of Learning and Growth
The next day, over 20 financial professionals, firm leaders, and home office partners gathered at The Petroleum Club, overlooking downtown Wichita, to participate in a peer-driven agenda, which fostered collaboration.
The session included a wide variety of speakers and topics, including:
>> Amy Bryant, JD, CLU – Director, Advanced Sales: Estate Planning and Buy/Sell
>> Amy Provezis – Regional Marketing Manager: Top 10 Drivers of Organic Growth
>> Steffani Crawley – Practice Development Director: Increasing Your Capacity
>> Eric Rhoads – Advisor Support & Business Development – HTK: Leveraging Morningstar
>> Randy Cowell, CFP®, LUTCF, CRPC® – President, ACT Wealth Strategies: Best Practice Sharing From a 35+ year Industry Veteran
>> Ray Kelly – Senior VP & Business Coach, Think2Perform: Execution!
One highlight was Steffani Crawley’s interactive exercise, “It Doesn’t Have to Be You!” Financial professionals identified tasks they could delegate, collaborate on, or eliminate to free up time and enhance productivity. The exercise sparked valuable peer conversations, revealing practical ways to optimize their practices and to help accelerate growth.
Participants also benefited from a market update presented by Maury Wiles of Mariner Wealth Advisors.
