Driving Success Through Speed, Transparency, and Dedication

“We are serious about speed and expertise—because time is money, and we’re committed to saving both for you.”

Meet Scott Francis
Scott Francis is deeply passionate about helping financial professionals elevate their careers. His goal is simple: To eliminate roadblocks and distractions so you can focus on what you do best. I recently caught up with Scott to learn more about how he empowers financial professionals to excel. His quick answer? "Stay out of their way." But there's a lot more to it than that.

What Sets Your Firm Apart?
Scott Francis: Three words—Speed, Accessibility and Transparency. We're always available and resolve challenges swiftly. That's our edge.

At our firm, you won't be just an agent number like L237413, waiting endlessly for solutions. We’re structured to tackle problems in real-time. While some situations might take a day or two, our direct access to key decision-makers accelerates problem-solving. From Practice Development to Underwriting, from Advanced Sales to Marketing, whatever you need…we have direct contacts who are empowered to get things done quickly.

Financial professionals bogged down by outdated, time-consuming processes should consider joining us. We're all about speed and expertise because time is money.

Our mission? Show financial professionals they can achieve more here—whether expanding into new markets or launching a new DBA.

What Do Wealth Managers Seek in a Partner Today?
Number one is ease of doing business! On the life insurance side, ACE and accelerated underwriting put us in a strong position. Plus, we are investing heavily in our broker-dealer to provide best in class technology and service experiences there too.

How Long Have You Been in Financial Services?
Twenty-two years in the industry and seven with Penn Mutual.

What Drew You to Financial Services?
It all started as a summer job in high school, working at an investment firm doing telemarketing. From there, I transitioned into operations and later became an assistant for the executive vice president of sales. I earned my life insurance license and Series 7 and 63 registrations.

I eventually started my own advisory business, then moved into management roles, including an assistant branch manager. After five years with MetLife, focusing on production, I returned to leadership at Penn Mutual in 2017.

Do You Have Any Quotes That Guide You?
Scott Francis: “Work hard in silence, and let the results do the talking.”

One of my favorites is from Duane Allman of the Allman Brothers:

“I love being alive and I will be the best man I possibly can. I will take love wherever I find it and offer it to everyone who will take it. . . seek knowledge from those wiser and teach those who wish to learn from me.”

I also remind myself that we don't always know what's going on in someone's life. If someone seems off, there might be a reason, and there might be something I can do to help.

Scott’s story is a testament to the power of dedication and the impact of staying true to one's values. If you're a financial advisor looking to advance your career, there's much to learn from his approach, connect with him on LinkedIn.
