The recent FP Roundtable was a standout event created by financial professionals, for financial professionals. Over 20 financial professionals, leadership team members, and home office partners convened at Chicken N Pickle, a familiar venue, to exchange ideas and network.
Surveys consistently reveal that Oklahoma/Kansas financial professionals value best practice sharing and networking opportunities. Responding to this feedback, the event kicked off with networking sessions and breakout tables. Here, financial professionals participated in a “Start-Stop-Continue” exercise, led by Steffani Crawley from the Practice Development Team.
Financial professionals divided into four groups to discuss:
After these discussions, each group shared their insights with all attendees, ensuring everyone could learn from each other's successes. The leadership team compiled these insights and included them in the firm’s monthly newsletter, complete with actionable items for immediate implementation.
During a working lunch, Steve Schaack and Jon Ernst provided valuable updates and facilitated group discussions on competitive life and annuity product offerings, enriching the attendees’ knowledge and strategies.
True to tradition, Oklahoma/Kansas blended professional development with fun and sports. Despite the sizzling temperatures, the pickleball play was a hit, with teams competing fiercely and spectators cheering.
Inspired by the input from financial professionals, 1847Financial Oklahoma/Kansas is planning more events for the fall. These will feature further opportunities for peer engagement, culture-building activities, and, of course, pickleball!
