1847Financial Dallas/Fort Worth recently hosted their inaugural Breast Cancer Awareness event, creating an evening filled with inspiration and connection. Attendees were moved by the courageous stories shared by Natalie Tuman, Rebecca Walden and Tricia Walker, who each recounted their journeys with the disease. Their strength and resilience left a powerful impression on all.

Tricia Walker, Financial Professional at 1847Financial Dallas Fort/Worth shared, “As a survivor new to the industry, I know the the financial impact a breast cancer diagnosis can have on a woman – it adds stress to an already difficult time. Having advisors who understand this impact is such an important component to this journey.”

The discussions extended beyond breast cancer to address overcoming adversity, embracing the uniqueness of every individual’s journey, and prioritizing self-care and exercise – topics that resonated with all attendees

The event also featured a permanent jewelry station and a hat bar, hosted by Susan Gore White and Ashley Lim, which added a lively, interactive element to the night, making them both crowd favorites. 

Meghan Gray, Practice Development Specialist and event coordinator overheard several guests say phrases such as, “I’ve been looking for someone like you!” Connecting people is one of Meghan’s true passions and this event provided the perfect opportunity to foster new relationships.
