Under a beautiful Utah summer sunset, nearly 80 team members from Brandon Mann’s 1847Financial firm in Utah and Arizona gathered for a memorable evening at America First Field in Sandy, Utah.
It was the kind of night that reminds us why we love summer—clear skies, warm air, and the perfect setting for a team celebration at a beautiful, outdoor venue.
The event kicked off with a delicious BBQ dinner in the private pavilion, where guests were treated to a festive atmosphere complete with a live DJ, free snacks and drinks, and a variety of family-friendly lawn games like cornhole and ring toss. The venue itself was ideal, an open-air space that fostered connection, laughter, and plenty of fun.
1847Financial staff, financial professionals, and family members from across the state came together to celebrate the recent successes of the firm. The evening offered a valuable opportunity to socialize, build relationships, and strengthen the culture that makes 1847Financial such a great place to work.
Brandon Mann, Managing Principal, shared his thoughts on the importance of events like this: “Our culture is built on connection, collaboration, and appreciation. Nights like these are important ways to say thank you to the incredible people who make up our firm. I’m deeply grateful for the contributions of every team member, and I’m proud of the work we’re doing together to support our financial professionals and their clients.”
A surprising highlight of the evening came when Jessica Zeitner, Field Operations Manager, and Maria Colon, Practice Development Specialist, received a surprise visit from Leo the Lion, the Real Salt Lake mascot. Leo brought plenty of energy and joy, posing for selfies and playing with the kids in our group—adding an extra bit of fun to an already memorable night.
The positive vibes continued into the match itself, with Real Salt Lake winning over Querétaro FC by a shot from midfielder Braian Ojeda. It was a perfectly place ball in the top-right corner—just beyond the fingertips of Querétaro’s diving goalie, Fernando Allison.
Overall, the evening was a great success, giving team members from across Utah a chance to connect outside of the office, enjoy time with their families, and celebrate the work they’ve done throughout the year.
