On June 18, 2024, 1847Financial - New Jersey Headquarters rolled up our sleeves for a special day of giving back. Teaming up with Morris Habitat for Humanity, we spent the day working on two homes in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. It was a scorching hot day, right in the middle of a heat wave, but our spirits were high and our determination unwavering.

Two Shifts, One Goal

Our volunteer day was divided into two shifts: morning and afternoon. This allowed our team to maintain energy and enthusiasm throughout the day despite the heat. The primary task for our team was painting. We meticulously cut in and rolled the entire second floor of the first house, ensuring a fresh and welcoming space for its future residents.

Meanwhile, other volunteers focused on framing out the exterior of a window in the second house. The coordination and teamwork between painting and construction tasks highlighted the collaborative spirit that is central to Habitat for Humanity's mission.

A History of Service

This Build Day marks the third time 1847Financial – New Jersey HQ has volunteered with Habitat for Humanity. Each experience has been incredibly rewarding, strengthening our commitment to supporting the communities we serve. Our efforts are part of Habitat for Humanity’s broader mission to build strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter.
