1847Financial Houston set out to make a strong first impression as they launched their new office space in the region. Recognizing the opportunity to connect with an impressive array of building tenants—ranging from a major local news outlet to CPA firms, oil and gas companies and other businesses—the team designed an engaging event to introduce the brand and build connections.
To generate buzz before the event, promotions were strategically placed throughout the building, including eye-catching digital ads in the elevators and a building-wide email announcement.
On the day of the event, financial professionals Catina Risper and Greg Kallus and local leadership—Jeana Kay Bryson, Paul Rodden, Carisa Calnon, and Amy Provezis—set up a welcoming table in the lobby. As tenants arrived for work, the team engaged them with warm conversation, handing out flyers and popcorn bags inviting them to “pop” into the event later that day.
The flyer included a QR code encouraging participants to enter their contact details for a chance to win exciting door prizes. In total, the team distributed 300 bags of popcorn, 250 branded flyers and gathered an impressive number of entries.
The event itself featured refreshments and drew several tenants, many of whom expressed interest in financial strategies or took the opportunity to network and get to know their new neighbors.
To continue fostering relationships, the 1847Financial Houston team personally delivered the door prizes to winners, reinforcing their commitment to meaningful connections.
The event was a resounding success, achieving its primary objectives of building brand recognition in the Houston area and generating valuable new prospects within their target market. At 1847Financial Houston, outside-the-box event planning and innovative prospecting ideas are just some of the ways we empower financial professionals to succeed.
